SHCC officials alongwith district administration and relevant departments have launched strict monitoring and transparent action to protect public health and medical standards in Khairpur district. The team reviewed records, equipment, staff, and services at Sindh Lab, Mehran Lab, Dawa Lab, and Karachi Laboratories. These labs lacked essential qualified staff, including pathologists and microbiologists, violating SHCC Regulations 2017. Consequently, all labs were sealed and fined. SHCC emphasized that violating quality and safety norms is unacceptable and poses a serious threat to public health. Lab owners were directed to rectify staff, equipment, and service issues immediately or face legal action.
